OIL

• It brings out the natural grain of the wood more and is currently more popular than varnished stains. If the furniture gets damaged, simply sand the wood and apply oil. No damage is known. Pigmented oils cover the color and texture of the wood. Oak wood has more pronounced pores that remain visible after oiling and reveal its structure. The structure of beech wood is more uniform compared to oak. All these properties, together with the original color, production technology, light refraction and individual perception, can be reflected in the final shade.

STAINING (VARNISHING)

• Varnish surface treatment is more practical for maintenance, the varnish strengthens the surface of the wood and thus the furniture is more resistant to damage. A lacquered surface is more shiny than an oiled surface. If lacquered furniture is damaged, the repair is a bit more complicated. In this case, we recommend entrusting the piece of furniture to our care.

Furniture finish:

• natural ecological varnish and all shades of oiled furniture according to the sample book are free of charge
• all staining shades according to the sample book are with an additional charge of 5%
• in the case of pickling/oiling on request according to your own sample, there is an additional charge of 10%
• we only offer OAK RUSTIC wood furniture in NATUR and HONEY oil versions

! Shades of stains and oils are indicative - it depends on the settings and calibration of your monitor or screen. If you are not sure about the shade, we recommend that you visit one of our showrooms, where all samples of individual shades of staining and oiling are available. We will be happy to lend selected samples to you at home.

MATELUX - milky glass color, less transparent glass

OAK – continuous lamella – a hard, strong, and durable wood. It is darker and has a more distinctive grain compared to beech. For the production of oak beds, we use continuous joint panels.

OAK – finger-jointed (cink) – a hard, strong, and durable wood. Compared to continuous oak, it has a mosaic look thanks to the connection of shorter lamellae – finger-jointed panels. It features a vivid grain and varied coloration.

RUSTIC OAK – continuous lamella – oak wood with visible knots and variations in color and structure, giving it a rustic appearance. This wood is available only in NATUR and HONEY oil finishes. For the production of oak beds, we use continuous joint panels.

RUSTIC OAK – finger-jointed (cink) – oak wood with a pronounced grain, knots, and color variations that create a distinctive rustic look. The mosaic connection of lamellae (finger-jointed panel) adds even more visual depth. This wood is available only in NATUR and HONEY oil finishes.

BEECH – continuous lamella – lighter in color and more flexible, which makes it suitable also for the production of bent furniture. For the production of beech beds, we use continuous joint panels.

BEECH – finger-jointed (cink) – Beech finger-jointed panels (cink) have a parquet-like appearance that nicely contrasts with the clean lines of selected furniture collections.

ZIRBE PINE – Alpine high-mountain pine (Zirbe) positively affects the cardiovascular system and promotes better sleep. Each piece of ZIRBE furniture is carefully hand-sanded and left untreated – without any varnish or oil. For the production of Zirbe beds, we use continuous joint panels.

CORE ASH – Ash wood is strong, hard, resilient, and the most flexible of our domestic woods. Core ash has prominent growth rings that create a beautiful natural pattern. For the production of ash beds, we use continuous joint panels.
